This fragment of poetry could summarize my creative process. It is a delicate exercise because, as it is unique to each artist who takes the risk of revealing an intimate part of themselves.
It is also, and above all, a reflection of one's inner world within a subjective reality that transcends time. The act of creation may even occur in an altered state of consciousness, much like in a dream…
The art historian Yassana Croizat-Glazer shed light on my creative process through insightful and relevant questions during an interview for the New York-based magazine A Women’s Thing (on the occasion of the Off Canvas exhibition in 2020). She also explored it in her presentation of ASSEMBLAGES, a solo exhibition organized in 2023 by YCG Fine Art.
